The story follows the life of the young saint who performs miracles and spreads devotion to Lord Shiva through hymns. The film features a supporting cast including Nagesh, Manorama, and Jayachitra. Storyline

A childless couple prays to Lord Shiva for a son. Their wish is granted, and a baby boy named Gnana Sambandan is born. But the child refuses his mother's milk and only drinks from a golden cup offered by Goddess Parvati. As he grows, he becomes a saint who sings hymns and performs miracles. A jealous king tries to kill him, but faith and divine intervention save him every time.
