Storyline
A blind village girl named Kannamma dreams of seeing the face of her lover Murugan. Murugan borrows money from a cruel moneylender to pay for her eye surgery. When Kannamma regains her sight, she mistakenly falls in love with the doctor who treated her. Murugan loses everything to the moneylender. Kannamma must choose between her gratitude to the doctor and her true love for Murugan.
