Full Plot

Porkkalam is the story of Karnan, a young farmer living in a small village in Tamil Nadu. Karnan lives with his parents and his younger brother. They are poor but happy. Karnan works hard in the fields every day. His only goal is to take care of his family.

The village is controlled by a cruel landlord named Bhismaki. Bhismaki has a gang of thugs who do his dirty work. He also has the local police in his pocket. No one dares to oppose him. The villagers live in constant fear.

One day, Karnan's younger brother accidentally crosses Bhismaki. Bhismaki's men beat the brother badly. When Karnan's father goes to complain, Bhismaki's men kill him. Karnan's mother dies of shock soon after. Karnan is left alone with his injured brother.

Karnan goes to the police station to file a complaint. But the inspector, Rangasamy, is on Bhismaki's payroll. He refuses to file a case. He even warns Karnan to stay quiet. Karnan realizes that the system will never give him justice.

So Karnan decides to take revenge on his own. He starts studying Bhismaki's movements. He learns the village paths and hiding spots. He begins attacking Bhismaki's men one by one. He uses simple traps and surprise attacks. Each time, he escapes without being caught.

Bhismaki becomes furious. He orders his men to find Karnan at any cost. He also threatens the villagers who might be helping Karnan. A local man named Obulage secretly supports Karnan. Obulage's own family was destroyed by Bhismaki years ago. He gives Karnan food and shelter.

Bhismaki's men eventually capture Obulage and torture him. Obulage does not reveal Karnan's location. But they follow Obulage one night and find Karnan. They capture Karnan and bring him to Bhismaki.

Bhismaki beats Karnan and leaves him tied up in a warehouse. He plans to kill Karnan in the morning. But Karnan manages to break free during the night. He fights his way through Bhismaki's guards. He reaches Bhismaki's room and confronts him.

The final fight is intense and bloody. Karnan uses his bare hands and whatever he can find. He does not stop until Bhismaki is dead. With Bhismaki gone, the village is finally free. Karnan walks away, wounded but victorious. The film ends with a sense of quiet peace.
