Ponnu Mappillai(1969)
Ponnu Mappillai is a 1969 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by S. Ramanathan. It stars Jaishankar and Kanchana in lead roles. The story follows a married couple who accidentally become entangled with smugglers after a guitar filled with diamonds ends up in their car. The film balances suspense with comedy, largely through Nagesh's performance as Sethu. The Indian Express praised the film for its intelligent script and sensitive direction. It was released on 26 September 1969.

Storyline
A smuggler hides diamonds in a guitar. The guitar accidentally falls into the hands of a young couple, Ramesh and Bhuvana. Now, dangerous criminals are chasing them. Ramesh must protect his wife and outsmart the smugglers before it is too late.
