Soaappu Seeppu Kannadi is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language comedy film directed by Thirumalai–Mahalingam. It stars Nagesh as Madhusudhanan and Vijaya Nirmala as Latha. The story follows Madhu, a wealthy young man who runs away from home to avoid an arranged marriage. He becomes trapped inside a stranger's house and falls in love with the owner's daughter. The film is noted for its situational comedy, mistaken identities, and the comic chemistry between Nagesh and A. Veerappan. It was released on 15 March 1968.

Storyline
Madhu refuses to marry until he gets a job on his own. He runs away from his wealthy family and becomes a salesman. While visiting a customer's house, he gets locked inside. The owner's daughter, Latha, finds him there. They fall in love, but robbers threaten to steal everything.
