Anubavam Pudhumai(1967)
Anubavam Pudhumai (transl. New Experience) is a 1967 Indian Tamil-language comedy thriller film directed by C. V. Rajendran in his directorial debut. The film stars R. Muthuraman and Rajasree in lead roles, with an ensemble cast including T. S. Balaiah, Major Sundarrajan, Manorama, and T. R. Ramachandran. The story follows a poor young man who enters a wealthy household controlled by a criminal, leading to a series of comedic and suspenseful events. The film was written by Chitralaya Gopu from a story by Raju, with cinematography by P. N. Sundaram and editing by N. M. Shankar. The soundtrack was composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Kannadasan. Despite critical appreciation for its comedy and music, the film was a commercial failure. It was later remade in Hindi as Hulchul in 1971. The film was released on 2 March 1967.

Storyline
A poor young man named Muthuraman arrives at a wealthy family's home looking for work. He soon discovers that a dangerous criminal has taken over the house and is holding the family hostage. To protect the woman he loves, Muthuraman must pretend to be someone he is not and outsmart the criminals before it is too late.
