Sri Krishnavatharam(1967)
Sri Krishnavatharam is a 1967 Telugu Hindu mythological film directed by Kamalakara Kameswara Rao. The film stars N. T. Rama Rao in a dual role as Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna, alongside Devika as Rukmini and Kanchana as Satyabhama. The narrative covers the complete life of Krishna, from his divine birth in a prison cell to his role as a diplomat and charioteer in the Kurukshetra War. The film is based on the Mahabharata and the Bhagavata Purana. It was produced by A. Pundarikakshayya under the Taraka Rama Pictures banner. The music was composed by T. V. Raju. The film was a major commercial success, running for over 100 days in multiple releases and celebrating a Silver Jubilee in Karnataka.

Storyline
Lord Vishnu descends to earth as Krishna to destroy the evil king Kamsa. Kamsa learns of the prophecy and tries to kill every child born to his sister. Krishna survives and grows up in Gokul, performing miracles and slaying demons. He later kills Kamsa, marries eight queens, and guides the Pandava brothers through the great war. But a curse threatens to destroy his own clan.
