Kattu Malligai(1966)
Kattu Malligai is a 1966 Tamil romantic fantasy film directed by P. Subramaniam. The film stars Vaikkam Mani, Kalpana, Babu Joseph, and C. L. Anandan in lead roles. It tells the story of a forest spirit named Malligai who falls in love with a human hunter named Velan. The central conflict arises from a curse that forbids the spirit from loving a mortal. The film is a remake of the 1941 Tamil film Vana Mohini. It is notable for its haunting musical score by M. S. Baburaj and for being the debut lyricist work of Sreekumaran Thampi. The film was released in 1966.

Storyline
