Namma Veettu Lakshmi is a 1966 Indian Tamil-language drama film produced and directed by B. R. Panthulu. The film stars Panthulu as the patriarch, alongside M. V. Rajamma, A. V. M. Rajan, Nagesh, and R. Muthuraman. The story follows a wealthy man who fakes losing his fortune to teach his spoiled family the value of hard work and respect. The family moves to a village and struggles to survive, leading to personal transformation. The film is a remake of Panthulu's own Kannada film Dudde Doddappa (1966). It was praised for its moral lessons and strong performances. The soundtrack was composed by M. S. Viswanathan with lyrics by Kannadasan. The film was released on 5 August 1966 and became a commercial success.
