Kuzhandaiyum Daivamum(1965)
Kuzhandaiyum Deivamum is a 1965 Indian Tamil-language children's drama film directed by Krishnan–Panju. The film stars Jaishankar, Jamuna, and Kutty Padmini in a dual role. It is based on the American film The Parent Trap, which was adapted from Erich Kästner's German novel Lisa and Lottie. The story follows twin sisters separated at birth who swap identities to reunite their estranged parents. The film was produced by A. V. Meiyappan under AVM Productions. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil. The soundtrack by M. S. Viswanathan became highly popular. The film was released on 19 November 1965 and was a commercial success.

Storyline
Twin sisters Lalitha and Padmini are separated at birth after their parents split. Years later, they meet at a school picnic and discover they are twins. They decide to swap identities to bring their mother and father back together. But a greedy woman named Nirmala plots to marry their father and steal his money. The twins must outsmart her and reunite their family before it is too late.
