Adutha Veettu Penn(1960)
Adutha Veettu Penn is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Vedantam Raghavayya. It stars Anjali Devi, T. R. Ramachandran, and K. A. Thangavelu. The story follows Mannaru, a man who cannot sing, who tricks his neighbour Leela into believing he is a talented singer by lip syncing while his friend sings in secret. The film is a remake of the Bengali film Pasher Bari (1952) and was produced by Anjali Devi and her husband P. Adinarayana Rao, who also composed the music. It was noted for its full-length situational comedy and partly coloured sequences using Gevacolor. The film was a commercial success upon its release on 11 February 1960.

Storyline
Mannaru falls in love with his neighbour Leela, who loves music. He cannot sing, so he asks his friend to sing in secret while he lip syncs. Leela falls for the trick, but the truth threatens to destroy their love.
