
Ivan Avanethan(1960)
Ivan Avanethan (transl. That is him) is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by P. Sridhar. It stars Udhayakumar and Ambika in lead roles. The story follows Muthu, an uneducated village boy who loves his wealthy cousin Malini, but she despises him. A married playboy named Sundar schemes to take Malini's money and beauty. A psychiatrist named Dr. Gunabhushanam treats all five main characters and helps them resolve their conflicts. The film was produced by T. G. Raj under T. G. R. Pictures. It features three dance sequences shot in Gevacolor, while the rest is black-and-white. The music was composed by M. Ranga Rao. Ivan Avanethan was a commercial success upon its release on 25 March 1960. No print of the film is known to survive, making it a lost film.

Storyline
