'Padhai Theriyudhu Par' is a 1960 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Nemai Ghosh. The lead cast includes K. Vijayan as Murugesan and S. V. Subbaiah in supporting roles. The story follows textile mill workers who organize a union and go on strike for fair wages and rice rations. The film was produced by Kumari Films, a company formed by Ghosh and M. B. Sreenivasan with contributions from over 50 shareholders. It won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Tamil, sharing the honor with 'Kalathur Kannamma'. Despite critical acclaim for its naturalistic style and honest storytelling, the film was a commercial failure due to distribution issues and internal conflicts. It was released on 18 November 1960.

Storyline
