Mohini is a 2018 Indian Tamil-language comedy horror film written and directed by R. Madhesh. The film stars Trisha Krishnan in a dual role as Vaishnavi and Mohini, alongside Jackky Bhagnani, Mukesh Tiwari, and Yogi Babu. The story follows a YouTuber chef who travels to London and accidentally awakens a vengeful ghost from the River Thames. The ghost possesses her body to seek revenge on a wealthy businessman who murdered her. The film was predominantly shot in London between June 2016 and April 2017. It received mostly negative reviews from critics who criticized its reliance on horror clichés and weak screenplay. However, Yogi Babu won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Comedy Actor for his performance. The film was released on 27 July 2018.

Storyline
A cheerful YouTuber chef named Vaishnavi travels to London to help a friend. During a boat trip, her blood awakens a vengeful ghost named Mohini from the river. The ghost possesses Vaishnavi and goes on a killing spree to take revenge on the man who murdered her. Vaishnavi's fiancé and friends must find a way to save her before it is too late.
