Veluthukattu(2010)
Veluthu Kattu (2010) is a Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Senapathi Magan. The film stars newcomers Kathir and Arundhati in lead roles, with Archana Sharma, L. Raja, and Karate Raja in supporting parts. Set in the village of Singampatti, the story follows Kathiresan, a jobless brute, and his cousin Arukkani, a hard-working student. Their love is challenged by her father's disapproval, Kathir's violent temper, and a prison sentence. The film is notable for being produced by S. A. Chandrasekhar and inspired by his own life experiences. It was released on 2 July 2010 across Tamil Nadu.

Storyline
A hot-headed village brute named Kathir loves his cousin Arukkani. Her father hates him. After a violent act sends him to jail, Arukkani refuses to marry him until he gets a job. Kathir moves to Chennai to build a better life, but tragedy awaits him back home.
