Maalamaal is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language comedy film directed by Kawal Sharma. The film stars Naseeruddin Shah, Poonam Dhillon, Mandakini, and Satish Shah. The story follows Raj, a poor cricketer who inherits 330 crore rupees from his grandfather. He must spend 30 crore rupees in 30 days to keep the fortune. The film is an unofficial adaptation of the 1985 Hollywood film Brewster's Millions. It features a guest appearance by cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar. The music was composed by Anu Malik with vocals by Kishore Kumar and Alisha Chinai. The film was a commercial success and is remembered for its comedic performances.

Storyline
