Shatru(1986)
Shatru is a 1986 Hindi-language action drama film directed by Pramod Chakravorty. It stars Rajesh Khanna as Inspector Ashok Sharma, alongside Prem Chopra, Shabana Sidique, and Ashok Kumar. The story follows an honest police officer who is assigned to a remote village where rich criminals exploit the poor. He faces a powerful villain and a corrupt MLA who frame him for murder. The film was an Indo-Bangladeshi venture and was also released in Bengali as Birodh. Music was composed by R.D. Burman with lyrics by Anand Bakshi. It was a remake of the 1984 Bengali film of the same name. The film was an average success at the box office and released on August 15, 1986.

Storyline
Inspector Ashok Sharma is sent to a remote village where rich men exploit the poor. He tries to bring justice but the villains frame him for murder. He loses his job and reputation. With the help of a young boy named Chotu, he fights back to clear his name and defeat the criminals.
