Singhasan(1986)
Singhasan (transl. Throne) is a 1986 Indian Hindi-language action film written, directed, edited, and produced by Krishna under his Padmalaya Studios banner. The film stars Jeetendra in a dual role as Vikram Singh and Aditya Vardhan, alongside Jaya Prada, Mandakini, and Radha. The story follows two kingdoms, Avanti and Gandhar, where a loyal commander and a lookalike prince battle against corrupt ministers and a treacherous mentor. The film features music composed by Bappi Lahiri and lyrics by Indeevar. It was shot simultaneously with its Telugu counterpart Simhasanam, sharing scenes and artists. While the Telugu version was a commercial success, Singhasan failed at the Hindi box office. The film is notable for its ensemble cast including Pran, Kader Khan, and Shakti Kapoor.

Storyline
Vikram Singh is the brave commander of Gandhar who loves Princess Alakananda. When the evil minister Bhanu Pratap plots to kill her, Vikram is banished. Meanwhile, in Avanti, Prince Aditya Vardhan, who looks exactly like Vikram, is being corrupted by his mentor. Vikram must fight to protect both kingdoms and clear his name.
