Storyline
Violet Stoneham is an aging Anglo-Indian schoolteacher living alone in Calcutta. Her only companions are her cat and her memories. When a former student and her boyfriend start using her flat, Violet believes she has found new friends. But their kindness is a mask for selfishness. Violet must face the truth about her loneliness.
