Storyline
The goddess Ganga, who lives in the heavens, has a son with the god Shiva. Their son defeats a demon, but the demon's father brings a terrible drought to the human world. A man named Bhagirath and his wife pray to various gods, seeking to understand why Ganga refuses to come to Earth and end the suffering.
