Ilami is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language historical drama film directed by J. Julian Prakash. It stars Yuvan and Anu Krishna in lead roles, with Akhil and Ravi Mariya in supporting roles, and Kishore in a guest appearance. Set in the year 1715, the story revolves around a forbidden love between Karuppu and Ilami, the daughter of a rival village chief. The narrative unfolds against the backdrop of the traditional Jallikattu bull-taming festival. The film was produced by Parvin Productions with music composed by Srikanth Deva. Storyline
In the year 1715, a young man named Karuppu falls in love with Ilami, the daughter of his village's enemy chief. Their love is forbidden. To win her hand, Karuppu must defeat his rival in a dangerous Jallikattu competition. He must also change the heart of her angry father.
