Kaapaali(2016)
Kaapaali is a 2016 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Pa. Ranjith and produced by Kalaipuli S. Thanu. The film stars Rajinikanth as Kabaleeswaran, an aged gangster released from prison after 25 years. The cast includes Radhika Apte, Winston Chao, Sai Dhanshika, and Kishore. The story follows Kabali as he seeks revenge on his rivals while searching for his wife and daughter, who were presumed dead. The film was shot primarily in Malaysia, with additional scenes in Bangkok and Hong Kong. It was released on 22 July 2016 in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi. Storyline
An old gangster named Kabali is released from prison after 25 years. He wants revenge on the men who framed him and killed his wife. But he also discovers that his wife and daughter might still be alive. He must fight his way through the Kuala Lumpur underworld to reunite his family and settle old scores.
