Annadurai is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by G. Srinivasan. The film stars Vijay Antony in a dual role as identical twin brothers Annadurai and Thambidurai. Diana Champika, Mahima, and Jewel Mary play the female leads. Radha Ravi and Kaali Venkat appear in supporting roles. The story follows two brothers with opposite personalities. Annadurai is a drunkard with a tragic past, while Thambidurai is a kind teacher. When Annadurai accidentally kills a man and goes to jail, Thambidurai's life unravels. He becomes a violent don to survive. After his release, Annadurai sacrifices his life to save his brother. The film was shot entirely in Tirukoilur, Tamil Nadu. Storyline
Twin brothers Annadurai and Thambidurai are complete opposites. Annadurai is a drunkard haunted by his lover's death. Thambidurai is a kind teacher in love with his cousin. When Annadurai accidentally kills a man and goes to jail, Thambidurai's life falls apart. He becomes a violent don to survive. After seven years, Annadurai is released and must find a way to save his brother from the police and his own dark path.
