Trivia
- The film's title is a playful twist on a famous Tamil proverb, 'Oru nalla naal paathu solren,' which means 'I'll tell you on a good day.'
- Director P. Arumugakumar is known for rural-themed films, and this movie blends tribal culture with urban comedy, a mix he rarely attempts.
- Actor Vemal, who plays the bumbling college boy, had to perform many of his own stunts despite his character's clumsy persona.
- The tribal village scenes were shot in real forest locations near Theni, Tamil Nadu, to add authenticity to the setting.
- The film's soundtrack was composed by N. R. Raghunanthan, who used folk instruments to highlight the tribal leader's background.
- It was produced by Vishal Film Factory, a company actor Vishal runs, which often backs small-to-mid-budget Tamil films.
- Despite its adventure-comedy genre, the movie includes subtle social commentary on urbanization affecting tribal communities.
