It is a remake of the 2008 Bengali film Shibaji. The story follows Arun Sachdeva, a shoe-maker who turns into a vigilante after his daughter Bhoomi is gang-raped and the court acquits the perpetrators. The film was shot in Agra and released worldwide on 22 September 2017. It received overwhelmingly negative reviews from critics, who criticized its graphic violence, insensitive treatment of rape, and poor storytelling. The film was a box office failure.

Storyline

Arun Sachdeva is a loving father who runs a small shoe shop. His daughter Bhoomi is a happy designer about to get married. When she is brutally gang-raped by four men, Arun expects the law to deliver justice. But the court lets the rapists go free. Now, Arun must decide if he will let the system fail his daughter again, or if he will become the judge, jury, and executioner himself.
