Cuckoo is a 2014 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Raju Murugan in his directorial debut. The film stars Dinesh and Malvika Nair as a visually impaired couple. The story follows Tamizh, a blind wedding singer, and Kodi, a blind teacher-in-training, as they navigate love, family greed, and societal expectations. The film is based on a real-life couple Murugan met while working as a journalist. It was produced by Fox Star Studios and shot across Chennai and southern Tamil Nadu in 70 working days. The music was composed by Santhosh Narayanan. The film received positive reviews for its lead performances, screenplay, and honest portrayal of disability. Malvika Nair won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Tamil for her role. The film was released on 21 March 2014.

Storyline
A blind wedding singer named Tamizh falls in love with Kodi, a blind teacher. He faces rejection when she dreams of marrying a sighted man. After she is humiliated by another man, she realizes Tamizh's true love. But her greedy brother tries to force her into another marriage. Tamizh must overcome injury and separation to win her back.
