Trivia
- The film was originally titled 'Mona Darling: A Social Media Thriller' before being shortened.
- It was shot in just 21 days, primarily at a single college campus in Mumbai to keep costs low.
- Director Shashi Sudigala said the story was inspired by real-life cases of online impersonation and cyberbullying in India.
- The actor playing Wiki, Sahil Khattar, was also a popular video jockey and host, making this a rare film lead for him.
- Despite its modern social media theme, the film had a very limited theatrical release and went largely unnoticed.
- The movie's poster and title were a deliberate homage to the iconic 1970s Bollywood villain 'Mona Darling' from 'Don'.
- Some scenes were improvised to make the teenage dialogue and tech slang feel more authentic to the campus setting.
