Trivia

  • The film's title is a playful nod to director Vamsy's own 1985 hit 'Sitara', which had the tagline 'Fashion Designer S/O Ladies Tailor'.
  • Actor Sumanth Ashwin, who plays the lead, had to learn basic tailoring stitches for his role as Gopalam.
  • This was one of the few Telugu films shot extensively in the coastal village of Nizampatnam, known for its unique backdrop.
  • The movie features a cameo by veteran actor Tanikella Bharani in a key supporting role as a village elder.
  • Director Vamsy also composed the film's music, marking a return to him handling both direction and music after several years.
  • The comedy track involving the character 'Bujji' was largely improvised during the shooting based on the actors' inputs.
  • Despite its village setting, the film's costume design subtly contrasts traditional attire with modern fashion elements to reflect the theme.
