Beyond the Clouds is a 2018 Indian Hindi-language drama film written and directed by Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi. It stars Ishaan Khatter in his debut role as Amir Ahmed, a drug dealer, and Malavika Mohanan as his sister Tara Neshan. The story follows Amir after a police chase leads him to his sister's workplace, resulting in her arrest for a crime he caused. Set against the backdrop of Mumbai's slums, the film explores sibling bonds, guilt, and redemption. It was produced by Zee Studios and premiered at the 2017 BFI London Film Festival.
