Trivia
- The film's title 'Kulir 100°' translates to 'Cold 100 Degrees', a paradox hinting at the protagonist's inner conflict.
- It was one of the earliest Tamil films shot extensively in the hill station of Ooty, using its school campuses as key locations.
- Actor Nakul, who played the lead, was primarily known as a romantic hero, making this intense action role a departure.
- The movie was promoted with the tagline 'The Temperature of Revenge', linking the title to its violent climax.
- Director Anita Udeep had previously worked mostly in television, making this a rare foray into feature film direction.
- The film's soundtrack by debutant composer Ganesh Raghavendra did not gain major popularity, unlike many other 2009 releases.
- Despite its boarding school setting, the film underperformed at the box office and received mixed reviews from critics.
