The film stars Vaibhav and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles, with Vivek Prasanna, Indhuja Ravichandran, and Arun Prasath in supporting roles. The story follows 'Idhayam' Murali, a light music singer from Royapuram, and his complicated relationship with his college mate Madhu. The plot is driven by a lie told by Murali's best friend, which creates misunderstandings and delays their romance. The film is an adaptation of Rathna Kumar's own short film Madhu from the anthology Bench Talkies. It was shot primarily in Royapuram, Chennai. Storyline
A soft-hearted singer named Murali is devastated when his longtime crush Madhu gets engaged. His best friend lies to him to stop his suicide attempt. This lie makes Murali believe Madhu is a bad person. A year later, Murali discovers the truth and tries to win her back. But family drama, misunderstandings, and his own foolishness stand in the way of their love.
