CRD is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language drama-romance film directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Kranti Kanade. The film stars Vinay Sharma, Mrinmayee Godbole, Saurabh Saraswat, and Abhay Mahajan. Set in the competitive world of college theatre, the story follows a young dramatist who rebels against his fascist tutor to form his own troop of misfits. The troop aims to win a prestigious theatre competition while discovering their true artistic voices. The film is inspired by the real 'Purushottam' Theatre Competition in Pune. Storyline
