Trivia
- The film's title 'Next Nuvve' translates to 'Next You' in English, hinting at the supernatural theme of a spirit seeking its next host.
- Director Prabhakar Podakandla also wrote the story, drawing inspiration from classic haunted house comedies popular in Telugu cinema.
- Actor Sumanth Shailendra, who plays Kiran, is the grandson of veteran Telugu actor Shobhan Babu, continuing a film family legacy.
- The movie was shot primarily in and around a single large ancestral house to maintain the claustrophobic, eerie atmosphere.
- It was released alongside several bigger Telugu films in 2017, leading to a limited theatrical run despite its novel genre mix.
- The comedy scenes heavily rely on actor Satya's performance as Sarat, using physical humor to balance the horror elements.
- The soundtrack was composed by Anup Rubens, known for romantic melodies, but here he experimented with lighter, quirky background scores.
