Puthiya Paravai(2009)
Puthiya Paravai (transl. New Bird) is a 1964 Indian Tamil-language romantic thriller film directed by Dada Mirasi. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan, B. Saroja Devi, M. R. Radha, and Sowcar Janaki in dual roles. The plot follows Gopal, a wealthy businessman whose engagement is disrupted when a woman claiming to be his deceased wife appears. The story unfolds through flashbacks and a police investigation that leads to a confession of accidental murder. Produced by Sivaji Ganesan under Sivaji Films, the movie was a critical and commercial success. It was praised for its stylish direction, music by Viswanathan–Ramamoorthy, and strong performances. The film was re-released in 2010 and continues to be screened on Tamil television channels.

Storyline
Gopal is a rich businessman who falls in love with Latha on a cruise ship. But his past haunts him. Years ago, his first wife Chitra died in what he claimed was a suicide. On the day of his engagement to Latha, a woman claiming to be Chitra arrives. Gopal insists she is an impostor, but no one believes him. He must prove the truth before he loses everything.
