Full Plot

Singamuthu is a poor truck driver in a small village near Madurai. He works hard every day but barely earns enough to feed his wife and two children. One day, a wealthy businessman offers him a special job. The job is simple: drive a package from Madurai to Theni and deliver it to a contact. The payment is fifty thousand rupees — a fortune for Singamuthu. He accepts without asking too many questions.

Nellai Siva plays a local gangster who controls illegal activities on the highway. He hears about the valuable package and decides to steal it. He sends his men to watch the roads and stop every truck. Singamuthu senses danger but cannot back out now. He needs the money too badly. He takes a longer, rougher route to avoid the thugs.

During the journey, Singamuthu's best friend betrays him. The friend tells Nellai Siva about the alternate route in exchange for a cut of the loot. The gangsters set up an ambush. They stop Singamuthu's truck and search it. Singamuthu hides the package in a secret compartment under the seat. The thugs find nothing and let him go, but they are suspicious.

Singamuthu reaches a safe spot and opens the package. Inside, he finds documents showing a major land scam. A powerful politician has been stealing farmland from poor villagers. The documents prove the politician's crimes. Singamuthu realizes he is carrying evidence, not money. The businessman who hired him is the politician's rival. They both want to use the documents for blackmail.

Nellai Siva catches up to Singamuthu at a roadside tea stall. A violent fight breaks out. Singamuthu is badly beaten and left unconscious. The gangsters take the documents and drive away. A passing farmer finds Singamuthu and takes him to a clinic. He survives but loses everything.

Srithika plays Singamuthu's wife. She comes to the clinic and begs him to give up. She says money is not worth his life. But Singamuthu cannot let the corrupt men win. He recovers and goes to the police station. He files a complaint and hands over copies of the documents he had secretly kept. The police arrest the politician and Nellai Siva. The villagers celebrate the victory.

In the end, Singamuthu returns to his simple life. He gets a job as a bus driver on the same highway. He drives past the spot where he was beaten. He smiles because he did the right thing. His family is safe, and his conscience is clean.
