Storyline
Venkat, a poor college student, has been secretly in love with his wealthy classmate Kavitha for two years. When he finally confesses his feelings, she returns his love. But Kavitha's father, the rich landlord Pannaiyar, refuses to accept a poor boy for his daughter. He uses threats and violence to separate them, forcing Kavitha into an arranged marriage.
