The power struggle between two cut-throat loan sharks, Uthiram and Babu Jain, who finance the entire city of Chennai forms the heart of the action. Their henchmen manage to not kill each other by keeping to their respective turfs. However lives of other people get affected when clashes errupt between the two groups.
