
Renigunta(2009)
Renigunta is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by R. Panneerselvam. The film stars Johnny and Sanusha in lead roles, with Nishanth, Theepetti Ganesan, Thamizh, and Sandeep in supporting parts. The story follows five young boys who escape from a juvenile jail in Madurai and end up in Renigunta, a small town where they become contract killers. The film explores the harsh realities of juvenile delinquency and the social conditions that push young people into crime. It was a sleeper hit at the box office and was later remade in Kannada as Mandya to Mumbai. The music was composed by Ganesh Raghavendra. The film released on 4 December 2009.

Storyline
After his parents are murdered, young Sakthi is sent to a juvenile prison. There he befriends four other boys. They escape together and plan to become gangsters in Mumbai. But their train stops at Renigunta, where they get trapped in a world of contract killings. Sakthi must choose between revenge, love, and survival.
