Storyline
Elango, the responsible son of a strict village chief, falls in love with Sandhya, the temple priest's daughter. His father's hatred for love marriages creates a deadly conflict. When Elango argues for his love, his parents die from shock. Elango is forced to become the village chief, while Sandhya is driven away. Their love is tested by a lifetime of separation and a tragic final choice.
