Silandhi (2008) is a Tamil-language erotic thriller film directed by debutant Aathiraj. The movie stars Munna and Monica in lead roles, with Riyaz Khan in a supporting role. The story follows a newly married couple whose honeymoon at a remote villa turns into a nightmare when a dark secret from the bride's past resurfaces. The film is loosely based on the Hollywood thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer. It was later dubbed in Telugu as Erra Gulabi and in Hindi as Jaal - The Net. The director remade the film in Kannada as Ranatantra in 2014. The movie received mixed reviews for its predictable plot but was noted for its suspenseful atmosphere.
