
Aalwar(2007)
Aalwar is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action film directed by Chella Ayyavu in his debut. The film stars Ajith Kumar as Shiva, a temple priest, alongside Asin, Vivek, and Lal. The story follows Shiva, who disguises himself as Hindu gods to take revenge on a corrupt temple trustee responsible for his mother and sister's murder. The film blends religious imagery with a vigilante justice narrative. It was produced by Mohan Natarajan under Sree Rajakaliamman Medias. Aalwar was released on January 12, 2007, and received overwhelmingly negative reviews. Critics panned the weak script, overacting, and poor execution. The film was a commercial disaster at the box office.

Storyline
A gentle temple priest loses his mother and sister to a greedy trustee. The law fails him. So he decides to become god's weapon. He disguises himself as Rama, Krishna, and Narasimha to hunt down the killers one by one. But his mission gets complicated when he falls in love with the villain's niece.
