Storyline
Set in 16th century Kozhikode, the epic historical drama chronicles the legendary life of Kunjali Marakkar IV, Muhammad Ali, the fearless admiral of the Zamorin's naval fleet. When the oppressive Portuguese colonial regime terrorizes the Arabian seas and local kingdoms, Marakkar wages an epic war against the European invaders to protect his people, his trade routes, and his homeland's sovereignty. The film depicts his tactical military brilliance, personal sacrifices, and the fierce resistance against colonial exploitation. It portrays him as a maritime hero who defends Indian waters against foreign domination during a critical period of Indian history.
