Full Plot

Thangapaandi is the only son of Malaiswamy, a respected but financially average man in a Tirunelveli village. Thangapaandi is immature and carefree. He fails his +2 exams every year but does not care. He spends his time dancing at temple functions and roaming around. His family has informally promised him to his niece Rasathi since childhood. Rasathi loves him and expects to marry him. But Thangapaandi does not take anything seriously.

One day, Thangapaandi meets Ayyakka, an orphan girl who makes and sells clay pots. She is loud, independent, and speaks her mind. Thangapaandi is immediately attracted to her. He starts pursuing her despite his family's wishes. Ayyakka is confused but also drawn to his charm. Meanwhile, two more women enter his life: Myna and Vairasilai. Both are interested in marrying him. Suddenly, Thangapaandi has four women chasing him.

The village elders, including Sivalingam and Reddiar, start interfering. They make promises to each girl's family. This creates chaos and fights. Malaiswamy is embarrassed by his son's behaviour.
