Storyline
An aspiring filmmaker named Vasu is accused of plagiarism for his debut film. During a legal battle to prove his innocence, he undergoes hypnosis and discovers visions of his past life as Shyam Singha Roy, a fiery Bengali social reformer from the 1970s. The narrative alternates between Vasu's present-day courtroom struggle and flashbacks to Shyam's past, revealing a poignant love story with Rosie, a devadasi (temple dancer) whom Shyam rescues from exploitation. The film explores themes of reincarnation, social justice, and redemption across two timelines set in different eras.
