Karuppankaatu Valasu(2020)
Gandhimathi tries her luck with transforming her underprivileged village into a smart village with support from almost all villagers but Rettaimalai and gang. Gandhimathi along with Pachakilli Vaathiyar and other villagers confront Rettaimalai in village panchayat but in vain. Meanwhile, Nondi karuppan feels left out after serving the village for almost 45 years as security guard. Finally, with everyone's support Gandhimathi initiates the smart village proceedings, media comes in for live coverage and the villagers are elated including Rettaimalai. Happily villagers move on to annual village festival with much enthusiasm and delight. On the very next morning four murders rattles the village with shock and sadness. Police's comes in and investigation with different interpretations forms the later part of the movie. Usual suspect game starts but an unusual ending awaits.
