Storyline
Karuppusamy is a happy-go-lucky cycle stand contractor in Madurai who performs in temple festivals. Raasathi, a medical student, falls in love with him because his stage acts remind her of her dead mother. Her family opposes the relationship and tries to separate them. Karuppusamy must fight for their love while keeping her dream of becoming a doctor alive.
