Storyline

A former secret agent is held hostage when terrorists seize a shopping mall. He must stop their plot and prevent the government from freeing a dangerous terrorist he worked hard to imprison.

• Vijay's character name Veeraraghavan is a nod to his father S.A. Chandrasekhar's 1987 film of the same name.
• The mall set was one of the largest ever built for a Tamil film, covering nearly 5 acres at EVP Film City.
• Director Nelson included a cameo of a poster from his previous hit 'Doctor' inside the mall.
• The film's climax was partially inspired by the real-life 2008 Mumbai terror attacks.
