Bali Full Story Explained (2007)

Sree is a college student who lives and breathes music. He plays the guitar, sings, and dreams of finding a rare instrument called Bali. His friends think he is obsessed, but Sree does not care. He leaves his city life behind and travels to a remote village. He believes the instrument is hidden somewhere there. When he arrives, the villagers are friendly but confused by his mission. They have never heard of the instrument Bali. Sree feels lost until he meets a young woman named Bali. She is not an instrument. She is a beautiful girl with a warm heart. Sree is surprised but decides to stay in the village anyway. Bali helps him search for the instrument. They spend their days walking through fields and talking about their lives. Sree teaches her about city music, and she teaches him about village traditions. Slowly, Sree falls in love with Bali. But there is a problem. Bali is already in love with her cousin. She has loved him since they were children. Her family expects them to get married. Sree's heart breaks when he finds out. He wants to leave, but he cannot stop thinking about her. He decides to fight for her love. He writes songs for her and plays them every evening. Bali enjoys his company, but she stays loyal to her cousin. The cousin is a simple farmer who also loves Bali deeply. He notices how happy Sree makes Bali. The cousin makes a difficult choice. He tells Bali that he does not love her anymore. He lies to set her free. Bali is confused and sad. But slowly, she realizes that she has feelings for Sree. However, her family does not approve of Sree. They think he is an outsider from the city. Sree and Bali get married in the village temple. Sree plays the Bali instrument for his bride. He realizes that he found something more precious than music. He found true love. The film ends with them smiling together as the music plays.
