Trivia

  • The film's director, Hanu Raghavapudi, has said the story was partly inspired by his own family's experience with letters during the 1965 India-Pakistan war.
  • Actor Mrunal Thakur, who played Sita, learned classical dance for the 'Kaanunna Kalyanam' song to make her performance more authentic.
  • The movie was shot in real snowfall in Kashmir, not using visual effects, for the romantic scenes between Ram and Sita.
  • A special handwriting expert was consulted to create distinct letter-writing styles for the characters Ram and Afreen.
  • The film's soundtrack by Vishal Chandrasekhar includes a rare Telugu song ('Oh Sita Hey Rama') that directly references the Ramayana epic.
  • Despite being a period love story, it had a strong opening at the box office and performed well in non-Telugu speaking regions like Maharashtra.
  • The vintage cars shown in the London portions of the film were sourced from collectors to maintain historical accuracy for the 1990s setting.
