Storyline
In the village of Mukkudal, a poor Brahmin priest named Ramaswamy Iyengar lives a peaceful life with his wife and daughter Amirtha. When Amirtha falls in love with a Nadaswaram player from a different caste, Ramaswamy Iyengar must choose between upholding tradition and supporting his daughter's happiness. The village turns against him, forcing him to make an impossible choice.
